WELCOME!

Our interactive exhibition can only be visited after prior request and as part of a guided tour with our deaf guides. When sending your request, please provide at least two alternative preferred dates.

We will promptly check availability and soon we well be more than happy to welcome you We strive to respond to all inquiries as quickly as possible. If a suitable date is available, you will receive a booking confirmation.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday: 08.45 am – 4.20pm (start last tour)
Weekdays after 5.30pm and Saturdays: on request
Sunday and public holidays: closed

Important information for schools

HANDS UP is eligible for Wiener Bildungschancen funding! The following schools can cover the cost of visiting our exhibition through that program: Public and private Viennese compulsory schools from 1st to 9th grade, including primary, middle, special education, and polytechnic/vocational foundation schools. Please note that private schools must be publicly accredited.
You can check here if your school is part of the Education Opportunities programme!

If booking through the Wiener Bildungschancen, please include the following details:

  • exact school name
  • school code
  • school year

Our HANDS UP interactive exhibition will be open as usual during the Easter holidays. However, the office will be staffed to a limited extent to help the Easter Bunny hide eggs!

Your requests for tours during the Easter holidays will be processed as usual.
We will be happy to handle all other inquiries starting Tuesday, April 22, 2025.

Tandelmarktgasse (2 min walk)
or Salztorbrücke (4 min walk)

The 2nd district is a short-term parking zone. There are only limited parking spaces available. 
We recommend travelling by public transport.
