Deaf Museums

As part of the Erasmus+ project “Deaf Museumsequalizent has created an online exhibition on the topic “Social life and art in the Austrian deaf community”.

The online exhibition consists of posters on eight different topics. For each topic, there is a playlist with videos. In the first video, the content of the poster is reproduced in ÖGS. The other videos in the playlist consist of interviews with members of the Austrian deaf community on the respective topic. The videos have German and English subtitles (use the gear-wheel to change the language).

The “Deaf Museums” Project materials can be used free of charge.

The European Commission’s support for the production of this publication does not constitute an endorsement of the contents, which reflect the views only of the authors, and the Commission cannot be held responsible for any use which may be made of the information contained therein.
